As we live life, each of us is on a journey. Some are further down the path, some have found a great stride, and others have decided to sit down for a while. Some of us need to be encouraged and still others need to be more encouraging and less critical. But one thing is true - the journey is always best when we it is done together.

"We want to live the journey together. Let’s face it, life is a difficult journey and we need each other if we want to walk the path that leads to life. To this end, we at HarvestDowntown want to provide every opportunity for you to build relationships with others that will help you live a life with meaning.

We want every person to have a spiritual life coach who will serve as a resource to connect individuals and families to a coaching community. These individuals serve as a resource to help you find answers to the tough questions that come our way. Basically, they serve as guides for the spiritual journey in which we all live. They too are on the same quest, but they have forged ahead and understand their role as encouragers and exhorters to those who are just beginning or have become discouraged.

But, we need another tool in the quest to know Christ and how to follow Him - Community. We believe a Compass Group can serve this need so long as it is centered on Jesus - True North. A Compass Group is a weekly, small group that penetrates culture. The Compass Group is focused upon being a transformational community of desperate worshipers who view everything they do as worship and thus live missional lives with the goal of multiplication. This sounds complicated, but it is simply living the journey together.
